The village has regulations that pertain to residents who keep recreational vehicles/equipment on their property. Questions regarding the regulations, for both temporary and permanent storage, can be directed to the Building and Zoning Department at 639-1100.

The Village knows you want to be proud of your neighborhood. Nothing destroys neighborhood pride as quickly as vacant lots filled with weeds and litter. Property owners are responsible for keeping their land and buildings free of weeds and litter. Cary’s ordinances prohibit the accumulation of garbage or refuse so as to create a nuisance and to attract flies, vermin, rats, etc. Failure to remove any existing accumulation of refuse within 30 days after notice by the Village of Cary shall be deemed a violation of the Village’s ordinance. Please contact Village Hall if you notice anyone in violation of this ordinance.
